In a tightly contested Northern Lakes League showdown, the Lady Giants golf team fell short against Napoleon, losing 219-208. With the NLL Championship meet approaching next week, the Lady Giants hoped to gain valuable points in the overall team race, but the Wildcats had other plans.

On a windy day that added an extra layer of difficulty to the course, the Lady Giants struggled to keep pace with Napoleon. Senior Addison Schoch led the team with an impressive round of 49, the lowest score of the day for the Lady Giants. She was supported by solid performances from Olivia Anstead (55), Riley Halbeisen (57), and Brenah Paker (58), but it wasn’t quite enough to overcome the Wildcats.

Looking to bounce back quickly, the Lady Giants will travel to Clay this afternoon for another important NLL matchup against the Eagles. The team is determined to regroup and finish the season strong as they prepare for the championship meet next week.
