The Fremont Ross boys baseball team wrapped up its 2025 season this past Monday, hosting a talented Perrysburg squad in their final game. Despite their best efforts, the Little Giants struggled to generate offense, managing just three hits and falling by a final score of 11-0.
Perrysburg, known for their depth and execution, had trouble putting the ball in play early. However, a few walks combined with defensive miscues allowed the Yellow Jackets to gain an early edge and seize the momentum. As the game wore on, Perrysburg began to string together hits, steadily extending their lead.
While the scoreboard didn’t favor Ross, the effort and heart shown by the Little Giants never wavered. They fought to the final out — a testament to the team’s resilience and competitive spirit throughout the season.
Monday also marked the final game in a Ross uniform for seven dedicated seniors: Robert Rich, Braylon Schneider, karson Kayden, Dominac Burkett, Zavior Esquivel, Will Eastham, and AJ Wallace. Their leadership, commitment, and passion have left a lasting impact on the program.
To our seniors — thank you. Your contributions will be remembered, and your legacy will inspire the next generation of Little Giants.
