Fremont Ross won their third game of the season with a 6-5 NLL win over Napoleon. “Jason and I could not be more proud of our girls tonight,” coach Marie Gonzalez said. ” Winning on senior night made it even sweeter. It was without a doubt a TEAM effort right down to the cheering from our bench. I wish I could name the whole team!”
Scoring in the 1st half was Camille Gonzalez with an assist from Malise Lee-Garrett. Maylin DeWalt added a goal to tie the teams at the half. In the 2nd half Camille Gonzalez scored a header off off a corner kick from Maylin DeWalt. Camille then completed her hat trick and was able to find the goal again with an assist from Zoe Kaczmarek. Zoe Kaczmarek added her own goal in the 2nd half also. Maylin DeWalt took advantage of the Napoleon goalie playing out of the box and lofted in another goal.
Fremont travels to Springfield Wednesday to take on the Lady Blue Devils.
