SANDUSKY—The Fremont Ross swim teams picked up a pair of wins as both were victorious over Sandusky Perkins Monday evening.

In the girls meet Ross won with a score of 109-54.  The top results were dominated by Ross seniors Maddie Gallagher and Allison Taylor. Gallagher was a member of the winning 200 medley relay (2:00.54) and 200 free relay (1:49.85). She won individual events in the 100 free (56.97) and 100 breaststrokes (1:08.67). Taylor also garnered four firsts. She joined Gallagher in the 200 medley. Allison got her other first place finishes in the 200 free (2:13.5), 500 free (5:59.09) and the 400 free relay (4:13.43).

Sophomore Channing Stevenson swam to four firsts as well. Stevenson was a member of the winning 200 medley relay, the 200 free relay and won individual firsts in the 50 free (26.13) and 100 backstroke (1:05.94).

A trio of Freshmen contributed to the Little Giant cause. Kamryn Krieger took part in three first place swims. Krieger was a member of the 200-medley relay, 200 free relay and the 400 free relay. She also took a second in the 50 free (28.55). Fellow freshman Alvia Weisenauer swam first in the 100 Butterfly (1:15.28) and as a member of the 400 free relay. She also took a second place in the 200 individual medley (2:38.40). Sydney Weickert, the third freshman was a member of the 200 and 400 free relay teams that won first place. She also finished third in the 100 free 1:04.49).

A pair of sophomores scored points for Ross. Virginia Dabrunz was second in the 100 backstroke (1:14.40) and third in the 200 free (2:25.48). Cora Stierwalt took seconds in the 500 free (6:23.86) and 100 breaststroke (1:29.55).

In the boys meet, won by Ross with a score of  101-74, a trio of seniors collected points for the winning team. Cole Dymond got a pair of firsts as a member of the 200-medley relay (1:50.78) and 400 free relay teams (3:33.20). Individually, Dymond took seconds in the 50 free (24.00) and 100 free (52.48).  Ryan Dabrunz, another Ross senior, was also on the winning 200 medley and 400 free relays and took second in the 100 backstroke (1:04.52) and third in the 100 freestyle (54.02). Sam Sweeney, the third senior, was a member of the 200 free relay (1:39.26) that took second place and finished third in the 50 free (25.95).

Juniors swimming well for the Giants included: Trent Harkness, Aiden Zimmerman, and Logan Weisenauer. Harkness was a member of the winning 200 medley relay and took first in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.67).  Ziimmerman was first in the 500 free (5:16.89) and took a pair of seconds in the 200 free (1:54.03) and 200 free relay. Weisenauer was the fourth member of the winning 200 medley relay and also finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:14.68). He added a second in the 100 butterfly (59.09).

Sophomore Eliot Haitonic finished second in the 500 free (5:35.34) and third in the 200 free (2:04.97). Quentin O’Brien another sophomore had a pair of seconds in the 200 free relay and 100 breaststrokes (1:14.69).
