FREMONT – After a week of being on the road with little time to practice, the Lady Giants gained a 3-0 TRAC win over Toledo Whitmer Thursday evening.

The back court of Kelsey Weickert, Sydney Weickert , Elizabeth Keller and Haleigh Rios along with key plays by Lyndi Wolf and Carma Johnson led the Giants to their 8th win in 11 games.

“It makes a huge different being home in front of your fans,” coach Lindy Cahill said. “We passed the ball so much better tonight “ (as compared to the last two away games) Cahill added. “We are hard to stay with when we pass the ball well because then our offense runs much smoother.”  During the win, Caroline Cahill reached her 1000th career assist mark. Play wa stopped and her coach (and mom) presented her with the game ball

The Little Giants take a day off Friday before returning to their fifth game in six days with a home match against Edison Saturday morning at 11:30.
