The Fremont Ross boys golf team faced a busy week on the links, taking on a pair of quality opponents and coming away with a split.

On Tuesday, the Little Giants matched up against Oregon Clay. Despite posting some of their best rounds of the season, Fremont Ross fell short, 183-165. Leading the way for the Giants was Quinn Wolf, who fired a team-low 39. He was followed by Braylon Jordan with a 45, Brandon Fry at 48, and Max Durnwald with a 52 to round out the qualifying scores.

The team quickly bounced back on Wednesday, this time edging Lake in a tight contest, 175-177. The Little Giants showed consistency across the board, with Durnwald (43), Fry (44), Wolf (44), and Jordan (44) all contributing to the team victory.

The boys will return to their home course next Tuesday when they host Napoleon in another key Northern Lakes League matchup.
