The Fremont Ross Lady Giants golfers took to the course Thursday evening, squaring off against Sylvania Southview, one of the Northern Lakes League’s most formidable opponents.

Coach Kulasa knew the challenge would be steep but was proud of his team’s effort.
“We went into today knowing the competition was going to be tough. The girls battled hard, and we’re excited about our next NLL match as well as the upcoming tournament in a couple of weeks. We have a few things to fine-tune, but I’m confident we’ll be ready to compete,” Kulasa said.

The Lady Giants came up just short in a tight contest, falling 206–200. Senior Brenah Parker continued her strong play, leading the team with a low round of 46. Other contributors included Riley Halbeisen (51), Morgan Batey (54), and Olivia Anstead (55).

The Lady Giants will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Napoleon to face the Wildcats in another key Northern Lakes League matchup.
