The Fremont Ross boys soccer team was unable to generate any offense Tuesday night, falling 4-0 to Napoleon in Northern Lakes League play.
Despite the scoreline, goalkeeper Gage Babcock turned in a strong performance, making several key stops to keep the Giants within striking distance for much of the match.
The loss drops Ross to 2-3 overall and 0-3 in league competition. Head Coach Alex Coressel acknowledged his team’s effort but voiced his frustration with the lack of scoring production.
“We have to find a way to put the ball in the back of the net because we are playing too well and not getting the results we deserve,” Coressel said.
The Giants will look to rebound Thursday evening when they travel to River Valley for a 5:00 p.m. non-league contest.
