The Fremont Ross Lady Giants golf team continued their strong start to the season, securing a decisive 209-267 home victory over Oak Harbor to improve to 2-0 on the year.
Senior Olivia Anstead led the way for Ross, firing a season-best round of 49 to earn medalist honors. She was backed by solid performances from Brenah Parker (50), Lauren Fry (55) and Riley Halbeisen (55), as the Lady Giants controlled the match from start to finish.
Coach Nicole Kulasa praised her team’s effort and resilience. “We battled through some tough stretches to come out on top against Oak Harbor,” Kulasa said. “Every match, the momentum builds.”
The Lady Giants will look to carry that momentum into today’s competition as they travel to Van Buren for the annual Black Knight Invitational, a tournament that will provide an early-season test against strong competition.
