FREMONT – With their season on the line, the Fremont Ross boys bowling team delivered a clutch performance in the final round to punch their ticket to the district tournament. Entering the day on the outside looking in, the Little Giants needed a strong showing—and some help—to claim the fourth and final qualifying spot. Thanks to veteran leadership and some outstanding individual performances, Ross made the most of the opportunity.
Senior Robert Moreno led the way with a stellar series, rolling 243-289-286 for a 618 series, setting the tone for the team’s late push. William Eastham followed with a 202-166-191 for a 559 series, while Adrian Ontiveros contributed with a 233-526 series. AJ Kelser also played a key role, adding a 199-518 series to help secure the team’s place in districts.
“The guys really stepped up when we needed it most,” head coach [Coach’s Name] said. “We knew the situation coming in, and they responded with the best bowling of the season when it mattered the most.”
The Little Giants now turn their attention to the district tournament, where they’ll look to build on this momentum and continue their postseason run.
