In a gripping showdown on the diamond, the Little Giant baseball team faced off against their rivals from Napoleon, resulting in a heart-wrenching 3-2 defeat for the home team. Despite their valiant efforts, the Little Giants couldn’t quite muster enough to overcome the Wildcats of Napoleon.

The star of the game for the Little Giants was none other than junior right-hander Braylon Schneider, who showcased his dominance on the mound, throwing seven intense innings. Schneider’s performance was nothing short of stellar, allowing only three runs on five hits while striking out an impressive 14 opposing batters. His unwavering determination and skill on the mound kept the Little Giants within striking distance throughout the game.

While Schneider dominated on the pitching mound, the offense was led by Karson Kayden and Cade Reineck, both of whom went 1 for 3 from the plate. Their hits provided crucial moments of excitement and opportunity for the Little Giants, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to capitalize on them enough to secure the win.

Despite the outcome, the Little Giants demonstrated resilience and tenacity on the field, showcasing their competitive spirit and determination to fight until the very end. The Little Giants return to the ball diamond this evening as they play host to Sandusky.  First pitch is scheduled for 5:00.
