Fourth year coach Megan Rahe has a trio of seniors that she hopes will lead her otherwise young team this season.
“I’ve got three seniors in Faith Beaver, Peyton Fawley and Jakaia Harper-Horn. All three will be playing multiple positions throughout the season,” Rahe said confidently.
The Little Giants have three players who will be called on to take care of mound duties. They include sophomore Janelle Bigler, Fawley and Harper-Horn.
Behind the plate for Ross will be Beaver, freshman Alivia Weisenauer and junior Reese Shanahan.
Ross’ three seniors and junior Maycie Wolverton are all returning starters for the team.
“As a team we have seven players with prior varsity experience,” Rahe said. “We are excited for this upcoming season and ready to show what the Little Giants are all about.”
Other players on the roster include juniors Taylor Ruppert and Lily Gibbs. Sophomores out for the team include Natalia Alejandro, Ella Smith and Ella Warner. The other freshman besides Weisenauer is Kenna Tooman.
