FREMONT – The Fremont Ross swim teams had a fun night at the office.
Hosting Margaretta in a dual meet Tuesday evening, the match afforded the Little and Lady Giants an opportunity to mix and match the lineups, allowing swimmers a chance to do some different events all the while keeping the teams’ undefeated records well intact.
“Again, we had a lot of PR’s from the swimmers,” coach Phil Moran said. “Our older swimmers swam a lot of events that they normally don’t do, so it was fun to see the improvement since their last swims.”
The boys team (7-0) won their competition by a score of 133-49, winning all but two events on the night. The Lady Giants (8-0) won all but on event, and defeated the Polar Bears 123-63.
Friday night, Ross divers take part in the DHL-NOW Diving Classic at Bowling Green, then Ross will host one of two preliminary meets for the swimming portion of the Classic on Saturday morning, with the finals that evening in Bowling Green.
