FREMONT – While Saturday winter storm pushed back to TRAC Swim Championship to Monday, the Little Giants couldn’t wait to pick up their first individual championship of the season.

Dane Michael

Dane Michael finished first in Friday’s TRAC Diving competition, totaling 281.3 points, earning Diver of the Year, First Team TRAC and All-Academic honors as well.

Bowen Schooch finished second – earning all-TRAC status – while Sam Sweeney was eighth out nine competitors.

“I can’t recall on the boys’ side if we have ever finished 1-2 in an event at TRAC Championship,” coach Phil Moran said.

In the girls’ competition, Jadyn Rozzell finished fifth, earning all-TRAC honorable mention. Sarah Watsom placed ninth and Moragn Shetzer tied for 10th overall. Both Rozzell and Watson also earned all-Academic honors as well.

The swim competition, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed until Monday at 3:30 at the Hawk-Bucci Natatorium.
