FREMONT – The Lady Giants, still in Covid recovery mode, chalked up a shutout win over TRAC opponent Lima Sr. Monday evening at the “Purple Pit”.

The match was never close as Fremont stormed to a 25-5 first set win. During the set, Ross Libero, Kelsey Weickert, reached a milestone as she completed her 1,000th dig.  It was the second time in a week that two Ross seniors reached special volleyball milestones. Last week Carolyn Cahill hit the 1,000-assist mark.

Ross (9-4, 3-1) went on to breeze through the second set 25-11 and shutout the match with a 25-15 third set win.

The Lady Giants are back on the court Wednesday as they make their way to Lakota. They are right back on the bus Thursday as they travel to Findlay to take on the Lady Trojans.
