Little Giants win in Shootout
The Little Giant boys golf team shot its best nine-hole score in 10 years beating Whitmer in a shootout 160-161. Mason Durnwald carded a career low 35 while Scout Mosser shot 38, Will Stotz 41, and John Mapus (46). Owen Wright (46) and Gabe Ontiveros (47) competed as well. “It was a great night for the Golf program. The boys responded with great poise and determination to close out a slim victory,” coach Jimmy Scharer said.
Mason Durnwald (42) paced the Little Giants over Eastwood tonight 173-189. Joining Durnwald in the win was Will Stotz with a 43, Scout Mosser 43, Gave Ontiveros 45, and Nick Pearson and Max Kelly with rounds of 50.
