FREMONT – The Lady Giant soccer team took an early lead Saturday morning and never gave it up.
Ashtyn Schneider got Ross on the scoreboard in the first half and Jadyn Rozzell added a late insurance goal to life the Lady Giants to a 2-0 lead over Tiffin Columbian.
“They did an amazing job with making runs and give-and-goes,” said co-coach Emma Schratt. “They have a lot better communication, we saw today. They are becoming more comfortable with each other on the field and are figuring out each other’s strengths and weaknesses.”
Ross improves its record to 4-3 overall and will travel to Marion Harding Monday for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
“Monday, we have to come back even harder against Marion Harding,” Schratt said.
