FREMONT – The Little Giant tennis team gave coach Lisa Wolfe a nice welcome home gift.
Wolfe missed Ross’ last two matches while her mother was ill but returned in time to see her team win a close victory over Norwalk, 3-2 Saturday.
The Little Giants swept the doubles matches thanks to performances by Alex Thatcher and Trevor Weickert at No. 1 doubles and Lucas Cronin and Sam Long, who won at No. 2.
Ethan Moyer won every game in a two-set sweep at No. 2 singles, as Ross improved its overall record to 11-3.
The Little Giants will host Toledo Central Catholic Tuesday at 4:30.
