Girls tennis coach: Lisa Wolfe

Lisa Wolfe graduated from Fremont Ross is 1974 but the Ross girls tennis program did not begin until the following year. Nevertheless, since becoming head coach of the girls tennis team in 1996, Wolfe has built the program into a consistent winner.

Wolfe holds a 192-114 career record and was named the 2015 Northwest Ohio Tennis Association High School Coach of the Year. Though Wolfe took a four-year break from coaching from 2003-2006 while her daughter played tennis at Bowling Green State University, she returned in 2007 and also took over the boys tennis program as well.

“I still enjoy every minute being out here with the kids,” Wolfe said. “I think I have a lot of offer the kids, not just tennis. We talk about life lessons, and pay-it-forwards and random acts of kindness. I think I still have a lot of offer the program.”
