FREMONT – Dual meets rarely come any closer than the meet Fremont Ross hosted Tuesday night. The combined difference between boys and girls swim teams’ scored was just nine points. Only the boys team, however, found itself on the happy side of the ledger.
The Little Giants improved to 7-1 in dual meets this season thanks to a 94-89 win over St. John’s. The Lady Giants, on the other hand, were edged out for the second meet in a row, losing to Notre Dame Academy, 95-91, and are now 7-2 on the season.
Ross’ last dual meet of the season comes next Tuesday as the Giants host Port Clinton. Ross is also slated to play host Friday and Saturday for the TRAC championships, though a winter storm heading for the area Saturday may affect those plans.
